CID Arrests Alleged Organised-Crime Figure 'Konda Ranjith' After Dubai Deportation

The Criminal Investigation Department has arrested Ranjith Kumara, alias Konda Ranjith, at Bandaranaike International Airport following his deportation from Dubai.

Police said the suspect was taken into CID custody after arriving in Sri Lanka on 9 September.

He had previously been detained by authorities in Dubai before being deported to Sri Lanka.
