Litro Gas Lanka has reduced the prices of its domestic LP gas cylinders with effect from September 5, 2026.
According to Litro Gas Lanka Chairman Channa Gunawardana, the price of a 12.5kg cylinder has been reduced by Rs.100, bringing the new price to Rs.4,365.
The price of a 5kg cylinder has been reduced by Rs.42 to Rs.1,750.
The price of a 2.3kg cylinder has also been reduced by Rs.20 to Rs.815.
Litro said the September reduction was made despite higher international LPG prices and challenging exchange-rate conditions, describing the move as an effort to provide relief to consumers.
The new Litro prices are:
- 12.5kg: Rs.4,365
- 5kg: Rs.1,750
- 2.3kg: Rs.815
These prices apply to Litro domestic LP gas cylinders.
They should not be presented as LAUGFS Gas prices or as an industry-wide price revision unless separately confirmed.
The previously held LAUGFS price claim should remain unpublished unless independently verified.
