Nilakshika Silva Ruled Out of Asian Games Cricket With Fractured Finger

Sri Lanka batter Nilakshika Silva has been ruled out of the Asian Games because of a fractured finger, according to information attributed to Sri Lanka Cricket.

Silva was a key member of the Sri Lankan women's team during its recent Women's Asia Cup campaign and finished as Sri Lanka's leading run-scorer as the team reached the final.

Sri Lanka will also be without spinner-all-rounder Dewmi Vihanga, who is unavailable because of a knee injury.

The Asian Games development is separate from the recently completed Women's Asia Cup.

Sri Lanka is preparing to begin its Asian Games cricket campaign against Malaysia.
